Which Democrat Would You Vote For?   Leave a comment

I’m completely burned out on politics and don’t think it’s worth voting in 2020. I was pretty close to that in 2016, so maybe it’s no surprise that I don’t care about 2020. But, here we are and debate season starts in just three weeks.

According to an ABC News analysis, among the 21 qualifying candidates, 13 have cleared both the polling and grassroots criteria set by the DNC, clinching a secured spot on the stage for the first debate (June 26-27).

The qualifying candidates are –

-Former Vice President Joe Biden
-New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker
-South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg
-Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro
-Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard
-California Sen. Kamala Harris
-Washington Gov. Jay Inslee
-Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar
-Former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke
-Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders
-Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren
-Tech Entrepreneur Andrew Yang
-Motivational speaker Marianne Williamson

I’m honestly curious about who would vote for which candidates in the Democratic field and why. There are clearly more candidates than what I’ve listed, but I’m going to research these folks and I had to put a limit somewhere.

You can “vote” in this poll even if you’re not an American citizen and Republicans (or whatever) who have no intentions of voting for a Democrat are welcome too. I just want to hear your reasoning for selecting the candidate you would select.

And if you’re as tired of politics as I am, you might want to check out my political satire Hullabaloo on Main Street which laughs at the hysteria over the Trump election. I haven’t been able to find the funny in the ongoing hysteria, but if it ever comes back, I’ll be sure to post it here.
