I don’t know that book, but I’ll have to track it down now. Have you ever read The Snowflake Rebellion by Tom Braden. That’s another one on the same idea. I’ve got a draft for a fiction on the subject and enough blog posts to publish a nonfiction. I think Alaska is the only state in the union that could successfully secede now, though our current governor is busily spending our reserves so we won’t be soon.

The book is about other problems in Alaska, as experienced by author, and the politics are just secondary plot, but I liked the authors’ idealism to do it. Generally what is fictional first can be brought to the reality so I’m sure there are more books dealing with that issue. I will like to read your posts and if you need any help with your book, I’m willing to.
