Gun Control “Logic.”   1 comment

So true!

Freedom Is Just Another Word...

To David and Goliath..

First of all David was a youth and shouldn’t even have access to a projectile weapon and Saul should have kept it locked in a combination safe.

Secondly, who needs more than one stone?  The four extra stones obviously meant that David meant knock off a liquor store on his way home.

Thirdly, without sling shot registration, who knows how many of those giant slayers are out there.  Think of all the child giants.

Fourthly, David could have just ran away…sure it would have meant the utter destruction and enslavement of Israel…but at least he wouldn’t have had to use a projectile weapon to kill someone.

Finally, the Israelites should arrest David because he committed a racist hate crime and the media will portray poor innocent Goliath as someone just taking a peaceful walk through the valley of Elah when he was…

Is Fantasy Your Guilty Pleasure?   Leave a comment

I was visiting a neighbor today (bringing back his runaway dog) and discovered he is a fantasy reader and ashamed of it. He didn’t know I am a writer about to publish a fantasy novel. I wanted to waqsh my hands and when I was using his bathroom, I saw an old Barbara Hambly novel on the shelf next to the toilet paper. When I mentioned, he winced and said “it’s my guilty escapist pleasure.”

I think that’s sad. Why should we be ashamed of taking a $10 mental vacation that doesn’t damage brain cells or require several hours of travel?

‘Good Guy With a Gun’ Stops Second Beheading… Leftstream Media Forgets to Mention That   Leave a comment

Yup! The bad guy did the deed with a knife. And a citizen with a gun stopped him!

I’d ask “Can you smell the irony?” but I don’t see any. I grew up where guns are all over the place and crime is pretty low. It’s a low percentage bet to shoot up a movie theater here because 10% or better of the audience is concealed carry.

And you know what they say about bringing a knife to a gun fight, right?
It’s too bad the CEO couldn’t respond fast enough to stop the first murder, but at least the second woman is going to be okay.

The LORD God’s Handiwork   Leave a comment

HOPE and PEACE In An Uncertain World

God's Handiwork

“Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! Sing to the Lord, all the earth.  Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day-to-day.”  Psalm 96:1-2 (NKJV)

Our loving God’s handiwork is seen everyday; even in our sin filled world.  I pray we “proclaim the good news of His salvation from day-to-day.”  We are the blessed and adopted heirs to the kingdom of heaven!  Why/How?  Because we accepted the payment made for our sins, which was only possible by the blood atonement, freely offered by the perfect Lamb of God.. our Savior Jesus Christ; God’s only begotten Son– God made flesh.  We NEED to share this message everyday!  Blessings ♥ Streim

Thanks for Reading   1 comment

My interviews of authors drive traffic. I could bore you with numbers, but I hate math, so I will simplify it. My Writing Wednesdays have spiked stats. Enough said regarding math.

This week, I interviewed Nicholas Kotar, author of Raven Son, and that interview has received more than 100 views. Wow!

Of course I didn’t do that. I just wrote the interview. YOU the readers did that!

Hope you buy some books. It’s a great story, worth the read!
